Wow! What an incredible place. We ended up extending our stay because of how fabulous this place is. If you are planning to visit Phuket, book this place without hesitation. It has everything. Everything. Kids entertainment area , tennis court, yoga, evening entertainment, cozy spots to hang out away from the guests, private beach, local stores, everything is here!!! The staff are so kind and they go out of their way to assist you. Truly Marriott. Dom checked us in and he was so wonderful. Smooth checkin and smooth checkout. I want to thank everyone and please continue doing what you are doing. It’s working.

Returning after more than ten years, the stay started poorly with a slow check-in and no room ready at the official time, softened only by a complimentary drink. Things improved greatly at the M Beach Club, where Jord and the team delivered first-class service, and the lobby bar had a great vibe. The rooms were spacious with luxurious bedding, though it should be clearer which poolside seating carries a fee, and overall I was not quite as wowed as on my first visit given the cost.

A really great two-night stay at the JW Marriott in Mai Khao, conveniently located for the airport and the Koh Yao Yai pier and far enough from the busier areas to feel like a plus. The huge resort is so spaciously designed that it never feels crowded, with several pools including an adults-only one, tennis courts and a large gym. Breakfast had a huge, excellent selection, dinner at the beach club was lovely, and a small shopping area is within walking distance, all backed by excellent service.
