"Great squash club courts"

Matthew Clark

Great squash club, with 6 courts, 20 internal boxes and men's and ladies league teams. Best club in Bristol! Now with additional 2 Padel courts.

"Describe club particularly friendly"

robert przemioslo

I would not call this a particularly friendly club, as there are clear advantages to being in the clique and newcomers can feel like interlopers. Over a year my family, including my young children, have at times been met with hostility, usually by a couple of older women on the desk who could use some customer-service training. The courts are a useful facility when you are left alone to play, but with the car park full of vans, rented spaces and non-players, there is little sense of membership beyond paying fees.

"Pretty atrocious light situation"

Ashley Stoneman

Pretty atrocious light situation on the court at the bottom. Only half the court lit up, and was unplayable because of the darkness. The club refused to light up adjacent courts unless there's a booking and staff seem unable to help due to higher up decisions. My first time at the club has left me disappointed, which is a shame considering the bar area and the other courts are lovely.
