Today was the first time I was ever there I came for a funeral luncheon. Friendly staff, delicious food, tastefully decorated, comfortable. Update: every time I've had the occasion to visit the University Club the folks I encounter are friendly and gracious.

The University Club is nice for a visit. I am not sure it truly appeals to me or really fits the atmosphere of social clubs in Rockford. At this point with aging patronage, it's only a matter of time before their doors are closed.
