"Review solely based experience"
LA LOLA

This review is solely based on my experience, specifically the padel courts on the penthouse. The condition is lamentable: the carpet doesn't reach the wall, it has lumps and exaggerated wrinkles (I've attached photographs), making padel impossible to play on these courts. As I said, this is a very biased opinion and in a particular area. The rest of the facilities, at least in the area leading to the courts, look very good, but my personal experience has been very poor.
"Prices squash unacceptable"

The prices for squash are unacceptable. It was already expensive, but with the new increase, I've stopped going. As a non-member, I have to pay €18 just to get in. There's a 5-ticket pass (€35), but it expires after 30 days. On top of that, you have to add the court fee, which is €14 per player (1 hour). In total, playing a match costs €32 per player, and that's if you don't have to pay for parking... Prohibitive. They'll end up killing the squash league. At least for those of us who aren't members of the gym because we don't live nearby. A real shame because it's a unique competition in Madrid.
"Gym impressive large equipped"

The gym is impressive, very large and equipped with many disciplines. I personally attended a couple of padel classes, and the instructor was very friendly. The courts, although they're obviously quite old, are very well maintained for being on the roof.
"Fantastic gym everything"

A fantastic gym. It has everything and you can access each of the activities or areas separately, without having to pay for something that you will not do or use. It has a solarium and even paddle tennis courts.
"Four stars having enough"

Four stars mainly for having plenty of squat racks, benches and Smith machines, so it is very heavy-lifting friendly, with several free-weight areas and decent machines, though more fly and rear-delt options would help. For a supposedly luxury gym it is odd that you must bring your own lock, the coffee is nasty and the air conditioning runs warm. There is no obvious stretching area in what is a bit of a maze, but it does the job if you are in Madrid temporarily.
