I joined Dollar Squash Club a few years back after our previous club was closed down. The membership is significantly less than I was paying before (only £150 per year) and it’s actually better in a lot of ways. We should've joined sooner. Easy to arrange a game with their online booking system and a good bunch of members from various skill levels so a good opportunity to meet new players. They have monthly leagues through the year for those who fancy some friendly competition and an annual championship which is great to watch. It was an added bonus when we found a table tennis table set up upstairs; an ideal warm-down. Playing squash is a great way to get some exercise in so would encourage people to sign up if they’re thinking about trying something new (or thinking about switching clubs). Ask me for a game once you’re signed up - I’m the tired mess in the corner :)
