I have been member of this gym since last 4 years & I am going to stop my membership from the next renewal. Since last week they have decided to take away the Bench Press (decline bench). The bench has disappeared and they confirmed today that they will not bring it back. Its is one of the essential exercise to shape up the lower chest. I have just spoken to the gym receptionist and will be speaking to their manager NAS to see if she will allow me a refund so I can start my membership at the Pure gym. Which gym in London wouldnt have the bench press (decline) ? Also, I have seen the management of the gym has gone down the hill in the last few years - It gets often flooded by school kids after 4pm (for example try to go on Monday after 4pm and they will be everywhere engaging most of the equipment and throwing weights while no one to monitor or manage). The customer (specially men) leave their bags, jackets lying around in the corner or hanging on dumbells, and do not use lockers. It is heart breaking that they have taken way the bench press and not managing the crowd. They should bring back the booking policy from covid so only limited number of people are in there and the numbers should be limited to school kids too, they all come in the group and take over everything, you dont even stand a chance if you try to queue as their mates take the precedence. I teach Group Cycle here on Tuesday evenings, and it is by far my favourite place to teach classes. The staff are the friendliest I have ever worked with; I am always greeted with a smile and waved goodbye. The customers are also such a breath of fresh air, I love having a chat after class; this is not just a place to exercise but also to socialise and have a little laugh. Love the vibe!! Keep it up Hammersmith team :))

I rejoined Better Fitness and Hammersmith Squash Centre in May 2025 and have been thoroughly impressed. The entire staff is welcoming, approachable, and professional. The manager is particularly outstanding-a hands-on leader and a brilliant role model who stays involved in every detail of the centre’s operations. It’s clearly a great team." I just wanted to say "Thank You" for our 🎄 party 🥳 🎉 It was fantastic 👏👏👏👏👏
