A very nice location! The squash court could use a little renovation in some places on the floor, but overall it is a super nice place! The restaurant is also super cozy! There are 500 plants 🪴 good food and friendly staff!

I come here to play squash regularly and had a dinner couple of times. While they are trying to keep the place nice there are some things which leave an unpleasant feeling. 1. They organize kids parties on the courts, as a result there is so much noise that I cannot hear my squash partner on the court. A party can take place any time, so you never know when booking a court to play. 2. Several times the courts floors were very dirty (winter), assume that that comes from kids and their parents wearing street shoes on the court. 3. They don't allow to walk through the restaurant if you came to play squash, on the same time they regularly organize 'borrel' parties on the bar which is the way to come to the courts. So if you want to play squash you need to get through a drunken dense crowd. If you try to walk through a restaurant because it's freer, you'll be scolded like a schoolboy. 4. They recently raised prices and updated rules, which make it a less attractive place to come to play. As people experience raised prices on everything, people will make choices and probably skip squash.

Lovely cafe next to squash courts and gym. The owner (Thijs) is awesome and super friendly! Great place to relax or have a drink in the evening!
"Squash tournament yesterday believe the concept"

Had a squash tournament yesterday. I believe the concept is that catering and sports reinforce each other or something like that, but what a drama. During the tournament we were not allowed to use the catering seats. Not even when it was empty in the morning and not even when you ordered something. I have never experienced anything so bizarre and inhospitable! Later in the day we were allowed to sit somewhere as long as we ordered something. I went to the AH around the corner! Service was much better there. My response to your comment. Agree that as visitors we have to purchase something and not have to sit at a table with one drink all day. Understandable and really no problem at all. However, we arrived at an empty catering establishment at 9.20 am and wanted to order coffee with a whole group. We were not allowed to eat them in the catering area. Once again... That one! Was empty. If we had been 'normal' visitors, that would have been allowed, but we came for the tournament and so it was not allowed (according to the waitress). We then paid the regular price for the coffee. After a lot of grumbling on our part, we were finally allowed to drink our coffee outside in the cold. Sorry, but that's really not service!
"Unfriendly owner and staff giving star because"

Unfriendly owner and staff. Giving 1 star because of the cat which is actually friendlier. The food tastes good, but I once got diarrhea after eating a burger here. Great squash courts, but again the unpleasant interaction with the owner and staff is really annoying and detracts from the overall experience.
