My son had private lessons with Coach Noah this summer. The instruction and explanation was simple and clear so my 7yo son could understand. Also his coaching skill and communication skill are great. I have three kids and I’ve seen lots of coaches and instructors for many activities from different organizations, and coach Noah is one of the best.

I have been doing adult group lessons with Summer Smash for a couple years and all the coaches have been top notch! They’ve really helped improve my skill and even in group lessons have been able to give me specific feedback. I recently did a private lesson through Summer Smash and Noah was great! The coaches are the reason I keep signing up for lessons through Summer Smash.

My 4 year old has been doing Summer Smash Tennis for a few seasons now and I've watched his skills steadily grow over this time. I can see him getting better with hand eye coordination and practicing with his racquet. He loves going to the sessions and looks forward to practicing with the coaches and doing the different exercises. Coach Yohann, Jeremy and Daniel are very well trained and patient with him and the other kids. They are very good at coaching the fundamentals while playing fun games. I highly recommend Summer Smash Tennis to other families with kids looking to start tennis and to grow their skills.

I’ve been taking lessons with Summer Smash for a couple of years now, starting with the Adult Beginner program and gradually progressing to Intermediate and the Doubles Clinic. The coaching is excellent, and the vibe is always positive and fun. Coaches Martin and Jeremy deserve a special shoutout. They bring an amazing balance of technical knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm to every session. They’ve helped me build a solid foundation, improve my game, and most importantly, enjoy the process. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get into tennis!

I have loved my classes with Summer Smash Tennis. I have so far done a Beginner ++ and an Intermediate and will book in for another Intermediate. The group size is perfect and the coaches have all been super friendly and helpful. If you’re thinking about doing it, just do it!

I highly recommend Summer Smash Tennis to anyone considering learning or improving tennis in Vancouver. It's been nothing but a positive experience each time. I started last summer as an absolute beginner and have taken 1.2, 1.2, and 2.2 classes and my skills and confidence have definitely improved. The coaches are wonderful - supportive, kind, positive and encouraging. Shout out to Graeme, Jenn, and Noah, plus the many others who have coached me over the past year! The atmosphere is always fun and welcoming. The pace of the class starts off slow (in a good way) for beginners and they move at the pace the class is at. They want you to build the foundations and so start you off really focusing on technique. There's always a mix of skill-learning, rallying, and games and it feels like the coaches mix things up depending on the needs of the class, and so far, no two classes have ever been the same. The schedule's also a major reason why I travel out of my way to take these lessons. They have classes at so many different times and days and locations, I can always find something that works, whether it's a weekend morning class in East Van or an evening weekday class in Kits. And the classes take place in various City of Vancouver facilities so you get to pick and choose what works best for you. I also like how there are only a handful of classes per session, so you don't have to commit to a large block of time. You can book a group of lessons, take the lessons and complete them in a few weeks, then take a break for a week or so (perhaps for summer travel?) then come back and find another batch of lessons that fit in with the following month. The levels are self-paced. You're welcome to repeat a level if you want to build those skills, or you can place yourself in the next level if you want to grow further and push yourself. The coaches are also happy to make suggestions.
