"Worldgate Athletic Club & Spa is a solid, full-service..."

Worldgate Athletic Club & Spa is a solid, full-service gym with a lot to offer. The equipment is a good mix of older and newer machines, and the variety of amenities stands out: basketball courts, squash courts, tennis courts, and even a golf simulator. There's also an on-site spa that runs appealing weekly deals (though I haven't tried it myself). The pool and locker rooms are reasonably clean and well-maintained overall. However, I've had a frustrating experience with the towel system. I use towels multiple times a week, and after the switch to the new dispenser, I was unexpectedly charged the first time I took a couple. I left them in the locker room since I didn't spot a clear return bin, but instead of staff simply collecting and reusing them, members get hit with a fee for each "unreturned" towel. It feels a bit petty and off-putting. My biggest concern is the lack of etiquette in the locker rooms and wet areas. There are frequently people lingering on their phones (often with cameras visible) or even using laptops, which raises privacy issues. Phone use in the sauna is common and makes it uncomfortable for others.
