This is the best country swimming Aquatic Centre that I have ever been to. Pools: Capella has an Olympic-sized swimming pool with disabled ramps for access (something that most other pools including the capital city pools that I have been to don't have ) for everyone of all ages and abilities to be able to access. There is a pool for small children with sails over it, a pool with a slide that is fenced from the other pools and it also happens to be fun. Playground: There is a small to medium-sized area that has been redone into a playground area for children and it is colourful, well-shaded and close to the seating area. BBQ: Capella Aquatic Centre has several BBQ facilities for use in the Centre. They are in good locations so that you can cook but still see the pools and the BBQs are out of the way of the pools. Pack your meat and salads, plates etc and cook your lunch, you can have a good day there. Tables: There are tables and chairs located around but most tables are towards the front of the entrance inside the Centre. Toilets: There are both male and female facilities in the Aquatic Centre.
