I only use the cricket club for the squash courts which are great, but boy are they cold. It is absolutely freezing in here and requires a serious session to really get a good sweat going. It's one of the few places that caters for non-member which is the job. The grounds outside are well kept and the bar is surprisingly modern. From the outside you'd expect an old bar but it's actually very, very nice, and the pints are pretty decent.

In the heart of Cork City, this club is known by anyone involved in tye sport of cricket and living in the Munster region. Founded in 1874, the club has had some famous cricket sports people pass through its doors over its long history. I say this as someone who doesn't play cricket. I believe a squash club is also hosted at the cricket club, which was refurbished in the 1990s. Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that the clubhouse can be rented out by wedding parties and birthday parties, or any other private function. The roomy club house and on site bar, coupled with the beautiful open space and natural setting offers a wonderful setting for any party.
