Money first - customer last Been training at Fitness First for about three years, then moved to Berlin where the nearest studio is one hour commute away - which is simply too much for my day-to-day life. Fitness First REFUSED TO LET ME ADJUST OR TERMINATE my contract, even though I tried to negotiate several options. Such behaviour would be ILLEGAL under NEW German legislation, but since I have been a customer since 2019, Fitness First can make full use of old, unfair legislation, making me pay for a full year and close to 800 Euro more until I am let off the hook. I have paid THOUSANDS OF EURO to this company. I get it if cheap “discounter gyms” make full use of such contracts but a gym that puts “FIRST” in it’s name should also PUT THEIR CUSTOMERS FIRST AND NOT ONLY THEIR SALES - looking for individual solutions for the people who sustain their brand and provide the cash for their pay checks. Always happy to discuss such forward thinking solutions.
