"Been visiting for the last 4 years, twice a year to play..."

Been visiting for the last 4 years, twice a year to play squash. Nice place and staff always seem friendly. Only issue i have is how the pricing has gone up from £5 each an hour (what we have always paid) to £20 each. Wont be going back at that price and will be going to other squash courts which are a lot cheaper. Cant see the place staying open for much longer with the pricing system in place.

Hey! Posting as a visitor, not member just FYI. Distinguished and well regarded prestige club, not just for Tennis (though it has a massive sixteen grass and eight all weather courts, some covered by a bubble in winter) but also Pickleball, Croquet, Gym, Swimming Pool, Squash/Racquetball and Walking Football. It's a bit hard to get to at peak times when traffic is snarling up due to the level crossing, but it's an oasis of calm once you get there. Membership seem very reasonable too, especially compared to that overpriced, glorified creche, David Lloyd's LOL😁 Lots of options depending on what you want to do eg just tennis and social, or the whole shebang and stuff in-between. There's even a discount if you live outside the Tendring boundary but it's still too far for me, personally. I would definitely join if I lived nearer though 👍🏾
