Royal Glenora Club
"Better place to spend time as family"

There is not a better place to spend time as a family. We can swim, frolic in the playground after playing a game of tennis and just when it couldn't get any better we go upstairs to one of two outdoor patios for a bite to eat! Do I need to say more?
"Today while driving with my toddler"

Today, while driving with my toddler—who is currently potty training—we had an urgent moment where she needed to use the bathroom. The Royal Glenora Club happened to be the closest stop, so we pulled in and I politely asked at the front desk if we could quickly use the restroom. I was told that facilities are for members only and we were turned away. I do understand that it’s a private club and policies are in place for a reason, but I was surprised that there wasn’t a bit more compassion shown for a 2-year-old in need. It was a small request that could’ve made a big difference for a parent in a tough moment. If you’re looking for a place with strict boundaries and little flexibility, this may be the place for you. To be fair I don't have any experience with the building and it's facilities, so I'm only reporting on my encounter with the front desk staff. The building itself looks nice.
"Great place with superb ambience for social"

A great place with superb ambience for social gatherings. Excellent tennis courts both indoor and outdoor, gym and a lot more. If one's hosting an event, one place that is worth checking out. The location is another plus.
"Club was once the best"

This Club was once the best of the best. It now consists of outdated and unkept infrastructure. Poor food services and an self-serving membership. What happened to good old Alberta pried and hospitality. Over this past weekend the club hosted a provincial Badminton tournament for U11,U13 and U15 and we found ourselves playing only on 4 of the 5 courts because the membership apparently didn't want onlookers viewing from the lobby area as it inconvenienced the members. With this came three long days with young children playing games well past 10 pm on Friday, Saturday night till 11pm and Sunday till 6pm. As I see it a hosting organizations when committing to an event puts all effort in putting their best foot forward and the Royal Glenora knows better. Shame on You!
