When Cidatel had just been taken over, we stopped by to ask about the cost of a squash membership. We were told that you could pay 5 euros per session as long as one of the two people took out a membership under the 'guest' arrangement. We asked explicitly whether this was a one time thing or whether we could use it permanently. 'As often as you like' was the answer. Under those conditions we signed up for a membership right away. Now the two of us don't work out that much, and this seemed like a good solution to keep it affordable. Today we stop by and are told that they'd just been discussing it. The guest arrangement apparently had to be limited to just one session, and then for one person we had to pay not 5, but 12.50. Since we're recreational players, that was immediately also the last time. For 11 euros, by the way, you can also play squash at De Brug Active in Mierlo and even get free racket loans there. And the squash courts there don't look like they haven't been maintained in 20 years either. The floorboards are literally warped.

Fitnessclub Helmond is a nice, quiet gym that's equipped with everything you need while working out. Friendly staff, plenty of fitness equipment and the option to play squash. As far as I'm concerned, recommended!

The nicest gym in Helmond! A really relaxed atmosphere, good equipment and always enough space. Good, personal guidance is always available and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The squash courts give the gym an extra plus, it's really nice to also be able to play squash for some variety.

The building is old and maintenance is definitely recommended. After working out, showering is a very cold affair. We've asked several times for this to be adjusted, for warmer water. We'd like to freshen up after exercising. There's also a sauna facility available. Sport options are fitness, squash, and judo/taekwondo are also practiced there.

What a filthy operation, all the squash courts are rickety, dirty and it smells everywhere. Really no maintenance has been done in years if you ask me. When it rains it leaks in everywhere.

I regularly come here for squash and I’ve consistently had a great experience. The facilities are well maintained, and I’ve never had issues finding a court available when I want to play. It’s especially convenient that they provide equipment to use, which makes it easy to just show up and play without any hassle. Overall, everything runs smoothly and the environment is welcoming and well organised. I’ve only had positive experiences here and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to play squash.
