"Current member of this gym"

I am a current member of this gym. It is very frustrating that the men’s locker room is always getting shut down for god knows what. It has been over 7 times this year alone, sometimes for long periods of time. I cannot use amenities that I pay for. It is getting way too overcrowded all the time, a lot of the equipment is always broken. If it weren’t because of how much I actually need the swimming pool for an old back injury and the actually amazing yoga instructors I would just cancel the membership all together. I am so glad I never actually canceled my Golds membership. Save your generic response and use that energy and time to actually fix the toilets and everything in the men’s locker room and the upstairs restroom. For how much you guys charge the gym alone leaves a lot to be desired. Also open up the tennis court, some of us actually want to play tennis.
"Advertise whole bunch of squat racks"

They advertise a whole bunch of squat racks but in reality there’s only 3 available the rest are always being used by personal trainers not even using them just taking up the space and the others there’s a class going on. (They prioritize the class bc those members pay a higher fee) don’t bother talking to the managers they don't anything. Example. Prime time Personal trainer stuff left there for more than 30 minutes with no one there
"Best gym around if you like group"
Joe Vega

Best gym around if you like group classes and or group training. Two thirds of the gym is dedicated to group training or group workouts and marked with pylons. This includes cardio equipment. Trainers floating in and out with private clients in remaining available areas. This place is declining in overall satisfaction as one must be very patient with new goals and direction of the gym. Be prepared to be solicited with reoccurring commercials for group training in tv’s throughout the gym area on a never ending loop. 10plus year members and first time we are thinking it maybe time to find a new gym. Update now they’re offering mixed martial arts in the remaining open areas. Private instruction. What is left for us to utilize in this place?
"Great gym but as many others"

Great gym, but as many others have mentioned there is a capacity problem. If you like personal space this is not the spot to choose for those training outside of working hours. Personally I don't mind. It's hard to find an alternative that has a solid sauna like this location. Pro tip: the communal sauna gets significantly hotter
"Lifetime is expensive and now"

Lifetime is expensive and now it's about three to four times as much as gold's gym but some would say it's worth it. The equipment is always in Tip-Top shape and the pool is a very unique addition that has a premium. The staff is always friendly and the best trainers in town. The basketball court and sauna are always working and in excellent condition. I've been going here for about 4 years and I can say it's worth it but it just depends on how much the quality of the gym it matters to you. I want those take the kids to the swimming pool quite often in the summer so it is nice that she can do cardio while the kids are entertained and then also lay out and get a little bit of a tan after her workout.
"Gym is nice but the pool area"

The gym is nice but the pool area is absolutely ridiculous and so loud. They do absolutely nothing about kids screaming like their being abducted and it causes a major disturbance around the neighborhood. With their high fees and prices you'd think they could build a wall to isolate some of their pool noise and they also play music 24/7 outside...I am also filing a city ordinance complaint as well so hopefully they get a notice to stfu.
"Ve been member of lifetime for years"

I’ve been a member of Lifetime for 7.2 years now and really enjoy this gym. I love the number of fitness classes they offer. The gym is MASSIVE (although the one in Peoria is even bigger! 😳) The outdoor pool with the water slides are great for people with young kids. They have an awesome kids center for the kids to play in while you work out. All the studios are spacious and clean. The locker rooms are gorgeous and offer a steam room and sauna The salon is super convenient and the cafe in the gym is also great too. It’d be nice if they offered more plant based options as I’m vegan, but for what it offers it’s nice. My only complaint about this place is they’ve got this terrible sewer issue that they been battling for years. Often times the whole club or the lower level will REEK of sewer. They desperately try to cover up the smell with fragrance machines. I wouldn’t say “air freshener” as the perfume or fragrance it emits is suffocating, but they are trying.
