"Ive been member since 1990 the personal"

Les Kirsh

I've been a member since 1990. The personal trainers and gym facilities are generally excellent. The treatment of the members by the management of the club (i.e. President, Melissa) is in a word disgusting. Communications if and when followed up are usually dismissive, negative and sarcastic. A lesson in PR is sorely needed here if it's even repairable. It's almost as if they want members to leave and sometimes even suggest it. Client oriented service is severely lacking at the top. Men's lockers have been closed for a year due to a fire and asbestos in the ceiling that they didn't tell the members about for quite some time and when questioned, we were told it wasn't loose or displaced so there was no health concerns. That's not exactly reassuring. The temporary locker facilities have been woefully inadequate, overcrowded, not very secure nor private. I hear membership is bleeding and I know why. Any co-members I speak to are miserable and it's common refrain, they don't give a sh-t about long term members and have no respect. They refuse to make any leave of absence fee adjustments for snowbird members no matter how many years they've loyally paid their dues and have a "if you don't like it leave" attitude. Valid member criticisms and comments are usually rejected outright or ignored. Were it not for the gym and excellent trainers and staff there, I'd have quit years ago. If I were shopping today I'd look elsewhere.

"Mayfair clubs is hands down one"

Mayfair Clubs is hands down one of the best fitness and recreational facilities Iโ€™ve ever experienced! ๐ŸŽพ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ The variety here is incredible โ€” from tennis and squash to pickleball and state-of-the-art fitness facilities, thereโ€™s something for everyone. The courts are top-notch, and the staff goes above and beyond to maintain them in excellent condition. As a squash enthusiast, Iโ€™ve been particularly impressed with the competitive yet welcoming community. Whether youโ€™re a beginner or a seasoned player, youโ€™ll find plenty of opportunities to learn, improve, and have fun. ๐Ÿฅ‡ The fitness center is well-equipped, clean, and spacious, with a great selection of group classes. And after a good workout or game, the amenities like the lounge and restaurant offer the perfect spot to relax and refuel. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. Mayfair truly offers a premium experience and fosters a fantastic sense of community. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay active, connect with others, and enjoy world-class facilities! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ…

Fantastic exercise facilities and lots of squash courts, including two doubles courts. And the saltwater pool is great.

Great for doubles squash. The bistro needs lots of help. Service is subpar. They have managers change like the weather

"Family recently joined the club so far"

S Vaughan

My family recently joined the club. So far we are extremely disappointed with the club. Here are some reasons: 1. The facilities are quite old and not well maintained. It is rusty in the women's change room near the pool; 2, One of the front desk ladies was quite rude (she may be racist since she treats different ethical background clients quite differently); 3, 2 out of 8 times that I went to the club for a fitness class last month, the classes were canceled without prior notification. The front desk staff could not and didn't even pretend to have an interest in providing some explanations; 4. The court reservation rule is very strict. The minute you booked, you cannot cancel no matter what (except if you're in a catastrophic situation, according to the front desk staff.) So if you book the court for next week today, but want to make slight changes, nope, you have to pay. 5. They charge you an extra $45 every time they "claim" that the payment to your credit card didn't go through and they have to try again... So good luck! Oh, yes, you have to sign up for a minimum of one year so too bad, no chance to cancel or switch so you'd better think twice before sign-on!

"Best place if you are looking"

Gohar Tutkhalyan

The best place if you are looking for a decent gym, pool, tennis courts, squash, etc. It's a Club, so don't confuse with gym. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. You can't compare it with LA Fitness or Good Life. Service is superb from the moment you walk in. I love it, highly recommend it. Swimming may get crowded as they changed the booking system, but they are working on increasing the hours.
