When people say that squash is an elitist sport I always disagree with that, until visiting this club. The members are great, so giving even less stars to them seems unfair to them. But the club itself seems to optimize around not wanting people to play squash. I'm more than willing to support any club with day rates or fees but that wasn't an option until a member took pity on me, had his account charged and I paid him back. From that moment onwards they went out of their way to get me to leave, including the 3rd attempt of coming on court during a game with a member who had asked me if I wanted to play, unprompted by me. Apparently my session had expired, not that that was ever explained. I'd have happily paid for another session - not a problem at all on my end. Not offered, not an option, and they were 35mins from closing so nobody new to take the court. Worst club I've ever visited and I've visited over 50 on 3 continents. It took some really nice members to drag things back from abysmal.
