My stay at Roots Resort was simply spectacular. The location is fantastic, in the center of Monte Verde, yet with all the calm of being immersed in 60,000 m² of nature, far from the hustle and bustle. A true retreat. From reception to check out, the team's service was flawless. Everyone was very attentive and kind, ready to make every moment special. Breakfast deserves special mention, with dishes made to order like eggs and tapiocas, everything fresh and delicious. The bar service, pool and suite housekeeping kept up the same standard of excellence. The modern Tuscan style architecture, designed by João Armentano, together with the landscaping by Gilberto Ellis, is a spectacle all its own. Nothing repeats, everything is thought out down to the smallest detail. The whole place radiates exclusivity and comfort, it's impossible not to feel at home. The resort's facilities are complete, a spa, sauna, fitness center, three pools (including a jacuzzi), tennis courts, a multi sport court, squash and beach tennis, plus a lake with boats and paddle boats, a private trail and the charming secret garden, a true hidden gem.
