not sure why the reviews for this place are so low... still, it doesn't seem to have much of an impact as the gym and the classes are always packed I've been coming here for 3 months now and I like it a lot! clean, modern, tons of class options (Les Mills and not) at all times of the day and the coaches are beyond lovely. honestly the price is worth it for the value, and it's still cheaper than many similar quality gyms in the US (love the a la carte membership options and the promos they have every few months)

I've been a member here (off and on) for over two years now. (I split the year between Strasbourg and Seattle.) I'm an avid squash player, and the squash scene at Evae (and in France in general) is top notch. Lots of courts, plenty of players at all levels, and the squash community is very welcoming. Everything you could want in a squash club (including a bar, of course)! The rest of the club is very good too - lots of different workout options, from free weights to machines to exercise classes. Haven't tried the pool so can't speak to that, but sauna's excellent after a hard workout (followed by a couple of beers, of course)! Compares very favorably with good US clubs. Only suggestions for improvement would be the showers (several of them don't work well), and the courts need to be cleaned more often. They're cold in the winter too, but not much you can do about that given the current heating restrictions. Highly recommend Evae for any serious squash players!
