I've been a dedicated member of this squash club in Budapest for over 10 years, and I've seen it flourish, especially since Linda and Dávid took over its maintenance and operation. Linda, in particular, has been organizing events and training sessions for more than a decade, creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. The club welcomes players of all levels, from beginners to pros, and the sense of community here is second to none. Regular club events make each visit a unique experience. Under their expert guidance, I've honed my skills and made lasting friendships. I highly recommend this club to anyone who shares my passion for squash - it's undoubtedly the best place to play in the city!

The new operator runs the squash club at a much higher standard and with real professional expertise. The prices are also much friendlier than they used to be. It counts for a lot that the place has been renewed wholeheartedly, with a youthful attitude. :)

I was staying in Budapest for the month and sent a note out to Budapests Squash group and was reached by David and Linda, who own the club. From our first communications they were extremely kind and easy going offering me a number of opportunities to visit the club and to help me set up matches with the other members. During my time in Budapest I played a number of drop-ins, played in a one day tournament and was so privileged to play Linda and David, both of whom are highly ranked Hungarian players; (5.5-6 on the US squash rating system). The tournaments and drop-ins are great and full of kind people, good laughs, and even have spreads of food like fruit, sandwiches and cookies between games. My only caution to North Americans is that the courts floors are finished. This is common in Budapest and present at the other clubs I visited as well. Also, some of the Hungarians love playing in the heat! The courts can get to +25C/77F or higher, so make sure you ask for the A/C to be turned on if you're use to cooler conditions like I am from Canada.
