A great place to exercise. I was on vacation stopped by a couple times for lifting and paddle. The staff was always friendly and the place very clean. I'll definitely stop by whenever I'm back.

The gym itself is quite spacious and has a good layout with different zones. However, there are several organizational issues that really spoil the experience. First of all, it turns out you cannot do online workouts without headphones. A trainer or supervisor regularly comes over and interrupts your session, it often feels like they do it just to bother the client. On top of that, the Wi-Fi is terrible and works only half the time. The gym’s own music is extremely loud and feels more like a rave party than a place to train. The gym is strictly divided into zones, and God forbid you step into the “wrong” one. After one incident, the trainer didn’t even apologize. When I called to sign up for an online training session, the staff didn’t even know they offer group classes 😅 Unfortunately, this is the only gym in the area, so there are no other options. If you want your morning mood completely ruined, this place is 100% perfect for that.

Clean gym and decent equipment, but that’s where the positives end. The gym area is very small (only the cardio zone is large), yet the pricing is completely unreasonable. For short-term access (2 weeks), besides the ~2500 MUR subscription, they also wanted an additional 4500 MUR “entry fee”. That’s absurd. Because of this, I ended up paying 700 MUR per day instead. The final straw was during my last workout. I was warming up for a leg session and took off my running shoes to squat/deadlift in socks for better stability and safety (anyone who actually lifts knows this is very common and safer than soft running shoes). A trainer came to tell me I’m not allowed to train without shoes. The only explanation: “it’s the policy”. No logic, no safety reasoning, just robotic rule-following. Either that trainer has never done squats or deadlifts in his life, or he’s just there to enforce rules without thinking. Overpriced, too small for the money, and rigid, nonsense policies. I changed gym immediately after this.
