Well organized,reasonably priced ,clean center with a pool. The pool and squash courts ,sauna and steam room were superb. A big thank you to Jeanette for being so professional,friendly and helpful.

Good facility near town centre. Gym, swimming pool, squash court, badminton courts and a pickleball/padel court. Plenty of parking and an onsite cafe as well. It gets crowded on weekend mornings but generally good availability otherwise. Swimming pool staff sometimes isn’t very welcoming. Only select few people get asked if they have a booking for swimming etc. I’d been asked to stick to shallow end by a lifeguard once, immediately overruled by another lifeguard as he had seen me swim safely and comfortably. I don’t want the singular experiences define the place so I’m still having an overall positive view but an honest review might help others experiencing similar situations.

I play squash at Tiddenfoot at least twice a week for the last couple of months and whilst only one of the two courts are in use and in a pretty run down condition, it does the job. So far we're been paying £8.50 per 45 minutes session - not cheap but there you go. From the beginning of 2026, the leisure club thought it be viable to increase the price to £11.50 (35% increase)..... I know the staff is not getting this extra in their wages, there is no heating in the squash court so it's nothing to do with gas prices, and it's definitely not seen a penny of investment in the past 24 months so we know thats out of the equation. Is it therefore pure greed whilst the leisure club knows it's on borrowed time with the new leisure club opening near clipstone park, and try and take users for a ride on the remaining time.... Shame on you!
