The Tollygunge Club is a place where time slows down in the best way, with greenery, old-world charm and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a retreat in the middle of the city. The golf course is stunning, especially at dawn, and even just walking the lawns past the heritage buildings is wonderfully relaxing. The service was warm and professional and the food simple and flavourful, making it a beautiful blend of history, nature and comfort, truly a gem in Kolkata.

I attended a friend's son's wedding reception. It was in the main lawn and we have had a wonderful time. Food was from Ananda caterer and it was great. One of our friends said it was a mini reunion. We just loved it. Our friend Dr Ranabir Bhaumik and his wife, Dr Ruma Bhaumik chose the right place and it was amazing.

Definitely one of the best clubs in the city. They have a lot of supporting facilities including a golf course, two swimming pools, a horse riding school among others. They have a lot of open space as well as banqueting halls for rent and Events they also have rooms and cottages and offer a wide range of dining options. There is plenty of car parking and a lovely children’s playing area.

Tollygunge Club makes a strong first impression with excellent infrastructure, beautiful green spaces and modest prices. Sadly the experience does not live up to it: most staff lacked professionalism, the reception hall upkeep was poor, and the food and F&B management fell short. Despite a stated no-tipping policy, tipping seemed necessary to get things done, though better training and maintenance could unlock the real potential of the venue.
