Stunning grounds and facilities. Cricket, lawn bowls, squash, hockey and more. Home to eta college and the grounds are currently hosts of the LMS world series. Facilities include sports bar and indoor cricket nets. Wheelchair accessnis available to the upstairs sections which is a great plus as well.

Most expensive beer I’ve had in Cape Town. Came in on a Tuesday afternoon, waited 25 minutes to be served, bar wasn’t even packed. Ordered a Castle draught, got a flat Castle in a Castle Lite glass, R60. At that price I expect cold, crisp beer, correct glassware and basic service, none of that happened. Staff didn’t check in. I didn’t try the food, locals seem to rate it, maybe try something next time- but I wasn’t in the mood to wait even longer.

Lovely outdoor environment great for a day out be sure to have your hat and sunglasses try to avoid white shoes as the lawn is moist and having camp chairs to avoid standing whole time. Great for the whole family. Friendly staff.
