Great place! Was very impressed by the ambience of this place. nice club in the heart of the city with all the sports activities like table tennis, squash, badminton, lawn tennis, billiards, indoor games, swimming pool and gym... They have guest rooms and canteen/restaurant. Well maintained facilities...Good parking space available. Excellent food. Lot of choice of activities. One of the oldest... Over100 years.

The Bangalore City Institute, a renowned club affiliated with the Cosmopolitan Club. Located at 8, Pampa Mahakavi Road, Basavanagudi, it's a fantastic spot with a rich history dating back to 1873. The place offers an array of amenities that truly impressed me. The ambience at the club is delightful, and it's conveniently situated right in the heart of the city. The club provides an extensive range of activities, including table tennis, squash, badminton, lawn tennis, billiards, indoor games, swimming, and even a gym. Not to mention, they also have guest rooms and a canteen/restaurant, making it a comprehensive package for all your needs. The dining options are exceptional, with a variety of choices for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I particularly enjoyed the delectable seafood and the wide range of chats available. And let's not forget about the liquor options – they have you covered in that department as well. The club is family-friendly too, offering a play area for children to enjoy while parents unwind. If you're a fan of golf, the Golf Annexe boasts facilities like a restaurant, bar, cards room, and even a party hall.
