The Bergvliet Sports Association boasts a fairly well maintained sporting environment that includes, babnington, squash, tennis, lawn boules, hockey and cricket. On the down side, the sports club doesn't pay much attention to the upkeep of the "back side" Alphen Way boundary walls where hedges are unkempt and dying, retaining walls are leaning towards the road and the fences are riddled with holes allowing for people to move in for the night in the hedges and undergrowth. The Alphen Way pavement that runs parallel to the Astro turf field is never cut unless the neighbors do so. The retainer wall of the same field is an eyesore as it is irregular and broken in places. The bowling green hedge is dead on places and not at all straight. There is evidence of people sleeping in the hedge and I have found used needles on the pavement near the hedge. In short, the Bergvliet Sports Association does not seem to care about the neighbors in Alphen Way. I am most disgusted.

Unfortunately each time I came here to play tennis they told me I can’t rent a court for various administrative reasons. Bit of a pity as it could be great

Historical info - Astro currently being built and should be finished by mid March2019. Great facilities and family environment. Squash, tennis, bowls, cricket and hockey Conberg is growing 2022... Family orientated club. Great vibe 2024 - club has mens and ladies in Grand Challenge and Reserve leagues! Club has grown immensely and still holds the family closeness. A great family vibe for players, social events held often for all to attend
