Visited for bonfire night, was very disappointed with the organisation from the start with the disorderly parking situation and the fact fireworks started 20 mins early from the advertised time to the ridiculous amount of time spent queuing for everything just to be given two broken hotdogs and an empty bottle of ketchup. Ended up leaving just before the finale to avoid the absolute chaos of leaving at the same time as everybody else. I would have liked a refund but I guess that isn’t going to happen

Came for the bonfire night fundraiser, which this is a review for. Significantly more people than the local area could handle for car parking - roads gridlocked on arrival. Dropped my wife and kids off and drove round for ages, literally nowhere to park. Nearest I could find was 26 mins walk away, so sat parked up as by time I would have got there the kids would be ready to leave. Wife said it was absolutely manic. Huge crowds for the bars, she didn't even attempt it with the children No doubt it raised a fortune - didn't get to see it so may as well have put the money for my ticket down the nearest drain. Was supposed to be a family evening out with my young children. Really not on.

The annual firework display was brilliant. And the lovely lady serving behind the temporary bar made up for the rather long wait to be served with her more than generous measures!

Good cricket club and facilities. Have lots of activities for children, hockey, football yoga and squash plus others it's a good community place. You can get drinks at the bar on a summers day watching the cricket.
