"Nice location generally pretty good music apart"

Nice location, generally pretty good music (apart from the DJs who think they have to play a trumpet 50 times in every song, which was probably cool in 2008...), clientele more like a "shisha bar" type and under 21 years old, if you don't care then you can stop by.

"Calea on november 18th very disappointed wouldnt"

I was at Calea on November 18th. Very disappointed! I wouldn't even know where to begin. I traveled all the way from Salzburg to the KYBBA event to spend a nice evening with a cool DJ in Vienna. I definitely could have saved myself the trouble; what a waste of money! Starting with the €30.20 entry fee for a DJ and main act who doesn't start playing until 2:00 AM, which is pretty cheeky, but even that could be overlooked. Absolutely irresponsible behavior; they let so many people in, UNREASONABLE. The excuse that the air conditioning probably wasn't working was cheap, because with that many people in such a small space, no air conditioning in the world could have made it any better. You couldn't breathe or move around properly. That shows that only the revenue was important. So much could have happened! And that's not all... The security staff are a disgrace and can't be taken seriously at all. They use their personal advantages as staff to fill the club to the last ounce of money. The conditions apparently also led to an altercation between two girls next to us. No intervention was made; even the DJ had to turn off the music for a short time to draw attention to the girls. By the time the security staff could calm the situation, one of the girls had been completely beaten and disfigured, to the point where rescue was needed. The drinks were overpriced and tasted like cheap budget wine, which was noticeable even after two shots, resulting in unbearable headaches. We tried to force ourselves to stay, but the conditions were so inhumane that we decided to leave. The crowning glory: the aforementioned incidents apparently triggered the fire alarm, and the fire department and police had to be called. All in all, a terribly disappointing evening, so much wasted money! Definitely not worth a second visit!
