Firstly this is a local authority funded leisure centre with a swimming pool , gym and various squash and badminton courts . The site also has showers for customers to wash all the nasty chlorine away, customers bring there own plastic showergels bottles and plastic shampoo bottles and plastic conditioner bottles and plastic deodorants and plastic drinking water, the centre sales drinks in plastic bottles at there vending machines they also sale coffee and tea at a vending machine that requires a plastic cup that you actually have to ask for at reception just to make sure your using it for the correct purpose!! Plastic bottles and coffee cups get emptied and so you would think this local authority run leisure center would have a recycling bin s all over the center right ? No ! Wrong all this plastic( mountains of it over a year) gets thrown in the rubbish bin and then ends up in landfill ! SHAME ON YOU WILTSHIRE COUNCIL !!!
