"Equinox Sports Club DC is"

Shahin Rothermel

Equinox Sports Club DC is the best gym in the area. The group classes are great, particularly the schedule and instructors. I’ve been working with Caroline, a fantastic trainer, and she’s already helped me meet and exceed my fitness goals. She helped me get stronger and improve my form. I love this gym and highly recommend for everyone!

"I am changing my review"

Alex Hope

My review has dropped because there is little left here, starting with a zero-dollar initiation that locks you into a costly one-year contract you cannot freeze without paying. The machines on both floors are old and frequently broken, and with so few of them they are almost always taken, which is absurd for the price. They also removed their excellent, well-loved cafe and consistently ignore customer feedback.

"The facility and the equipment"

Carter Ford

The facility and the equipment are in excellent condition. The staff are extremely friendly, also. My personal trainer is Andrew Stoner and he is the best trainer I have worked with. He is friendly and a great communicator. After developing a game plan together, he corrected a bad hip flexor in a short amount of time and his regimen has given me newfound flexibility, strength, and improved posture. I can’t recommend Andrew highly enough.

"Equinox Sports Club Washington"

Flavio Tranquillo

Equinox Sports Club in Washington, D.C. is simply not worth its premium price and falls short of what a luxury, wellness-oriented club should be. The facilities feel dated, the atmosphere lacks refinement, and there is nothing distinctive enough to justify the cost compared with truly upscale clubs elsewhere. Rather than incremental updates, it would need a complete rethink or a move into a modern space, which is a shame, because the city would benefit from a genuinely high-end wellness club.

"Nearly all class instructors are"

Hui K

Nearly all the class instructors are excellent, the variety is great, and most members are courteous, which I really enjoyed. Sadly a female locker-room staff member badly let it down, yelling at me for not knowing the pool closed half an hour early on Friday, then yelling again minutes later while I was showering. No announcement was made and a cleaning member had not warned us, so being shouted at twice, once while naked, was simply too much.
