Great racquets club with bar, restaurant and other facilities too. There are 6 squash courts, a hardball court, a table tennis room, a snooker room, tennis courts and padel courts. There's a thriving squash scene with mini leagues and plenty of tournaments throughout the year, including the BSPA men's event and the PSA women's event. There's also a really good social scene.

I was competing at the Edinburgh open this year and spent a couple of days at the club. Very nice layout for squash with plenty of room in the viewing platform and a very awesome spectator's stage on court 5 with seriously cool viewing options (shame the heaters partially obstruct veiwing at the highest tier but that's a minor detail, perhaps they'll install underfloor heating?!) nice spacious lounge area off the bar with tables chairs and couches, bar serving food and drinks. All courts clean and well maintained which makes for focused squash playing - enjoyed all my matches. The event was well organised and ran on time. Very good sized old school changing area and shower facilities. Could do with a new fountain as the current one is very slow to dispense water. If I was local then I could see myself using this club for squash!

Fantastic venue to play and watch squash. Played in the Edinburgh open, and the organisation and the facilities were first class. Update Dec 2022, Played again at the sports club in the east leagues and the hospitality again was great. Good food and drinks. Many thanks.

easily some of the best squash courts I've played on, (although the ceilings are very low). great temperature on the courts and a lovely club in general! comfortable walk from our hotel in the center of Edinburgh as well.

Great place! Plenty of parking. We played squash and padel. Staff weren’t that friendly and we couldn’t even find anyone to serve us at the cafe area. But was fun! £10 guest fee is expensive in my opinion.

I recently joined the Edinburgh Sports Club, and I have to say the team is incredibly efficient when it comes to communication and the smooth joining process. What I love most about the club is the sense of community—everyone is so ready to help. People are cheerful and always say hello. I’ve really enjoyed the training sessions. On Tuesdays, we play squash with Coach Peter. He’s very kind, truly understands the game, and explains everything in such detail that even beginners like us were able to pick it up easily. On Sundays, we play tennis with Coach Kenny—another wonderful coach who really knows the game. He guides us and encourages us, especially when we feel we’re not getting it. Since training with him, I’ve seen clear improvement. I really like his coaching style. I would highly recommend this club, its coaches, and the whole team. It’s a place where you’ll fit right in, without ever feeling like you don’t know anyone.
