Not recommended as a base for Budapest. Rooms were a relic of a more deprived age Lovely park nearby

An excruciating stay: they switch off everything from lights to air conditioning, claiming to save power while really saving money at your expense. The room was awful, with a tiny television showing no English channels, a broken kettle and air conditioning, small closets and an odd toilet, and they once forgot to clean it. The food lacked variety and ran out quickly, the Wi-Fi only worked weakly in the lobby, and aside from the consistently smiling staff, the building felt like it dated from the war.
