Very warm welcome upon arrival. Room serviced every day. Outdoor pool area lovely, and no problem getting a sunbed. They have fabulous facilities including tennis and squash courts, Turkish bath and steam room, but these are chargeable by the hour. We didn't see anyone using them, nor did we. Should maybe consider free use for guests? Would expect to pay for Wellness Suite, as they have to employ staff, and provide treatment products etc. but the other facilities should not be chargeable, in my opinion. Breakfast was exceptional and the staff throughout the hotel were wonderful. Thank you particularly to the shuttle driver, who was always smiling and on time. We did walk down to Funchal a few times, but uphill was definitely beyond our fitness levels. You may wish to consider this if you are looking to book a stay at Madeira Panoramico Hotel. Overall, a very pleasant visit and we would definitely recommend.
