Best club in town, decent bar and snacks. Old world charm mingling with the inevitable changes the aspiring and informed youth of today bring about. It was choc a block full on last Saturday and snacks were excellent. Recommended - fish fingers, chicken tikka, small vegetable cutlets and assorted kulchas. The mutton tikka was delectable over the years, seems to have lost its zing. An alert for non members and prospective guests, the dress code is strictly followed, tucked in shirts, no sneakers, no collarless shirts, shorts, jeans. However the reception is very sporting and resourceful, if you turn up in shorts they are reputed to offer you a pair of trousers, so as not to disappoint you or your host. Ofcourse these rules are applicable in main club building, bar, lounge, restaurant and relaxed in sports area- squash, tennis swimming pool.

The oldest club in Lucknow. Mohamed Bagh Club is under management of Army. Good place to spend an evening provided one is accompanying a member. Facilities available are a full fledged bar,swimming pool, tennis court, gym, card room, squash court and well appointed restaurant. Separate Chinese restaurant. The huge lawns are given on hire to conduct events like marriages and concerts. Entry is restricted. Website available.
