On June 21, 2025, at approximately 1:30 AM, I visited [Bookmaker Name/Location] and encountered an utterly disappointing experience that compelled me to leave the venue. As a customer, I expect a basic level of attentiveness and professionalism, but this establishment failed to meet even the minimum standards. While seated at the bar, I spent 10-15 minutes reading and waiting for a staff member to approach me to take my order or offer assistance. The staff member present was aimlessly walking around, completely ignoring me despite my clear presence. This lack of engagement made me feel invisible and unwelcome. When I finally took the initiative to politely say, “Excuse me,” the staff member responded with an unwarranted attitude, acting as though I was an inconvenience. Her dismissive response—“Wait, I’ll come back to you,you cant see I m the only one”—was delivered in a rude tone, leaving me feeling disrespected. This unprofessional behavior is unacceptable for any customer-facing business, especially one in the hospitality and betting industry, where customer satisfaction should be a priority. The lack of basic courtesy and attentiveness reflects poorly on the management and training at this venue. I left the premises shortly after this interaction, as the experience was, frankly, appalling.

Mulgrave Country Club - My New Favourite Venue! I recently re-discovered the Mulgrave Country Club, and I was thoroughly impressed by its exceptional facilities and services. My night began with the Collingwood meet-and-greet event. The parking was convenient, and the drinks at the bar were refreshing - I particularly enjoyed the Asahi and Canadian Club on tap. The bar staff and servers were friendly and attentive, making everyone feel welcome. The gaming venue itself was impressive, with plenty of space, comfortable seating, great lighting and decor. Occasional nibbles were provided for players to snack on. The service was top-notch! The gaming machines were a great mix of old and new, including classic Aristocrat machines and the latest MarsX machines. I also appreciated the variety of Ainsworth, IGT, Konami, and LnW machines, which blended seamlessly into the surroundings. And, tucked away near the coffee machine, were a few hard-to-find SHFL machines - I love the button feedback on these! The layout of the gaming venue was thoughtful, catering to different moods and preferences. Whether I wanted to be social or enjoy some privacy while playing, there were machines in various spots to suit my mood. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the Mulgrave Country Club and can't wait to visit again and sign up as a member!

Always have a great time here with family and friends. The kids love the play area, the food is great and the staff are wonderful. Special call out to Narelle at the front desk and Neil at the Bistro.
