"Sports part decent competition"

The sports part of it is decent. Competition is good, and it encourages even the novice players warmly. The dress code and other rules enhance the quality of the game. Jogging track is good too. Food is decent, and the buffets are worth every penny. They have decent wines and are quite affordable.
"Purportedly one three best"

Purportedly one of the three best private clubs in India, if I remember a decades old survey correctly. I'd say that's an accurate description. It's a town within a city, with its own library, food court, swimming pool, living quarters, petrol pump, bars and pubs, bank, riding grounds, cricket grounds, lawns, kitchen, bakery, ballroom, open air movie theatre, children's park, nursery, gym and several sporting spaces for tennis, badminton, table tennis, squash, billiards, etc. Admittance into the membership rolls is exceedingly difficult, with a waiting list that is more than twenty years long. Recently, a wing of the old building burned down almost completely and is being rebuilt in keeping with the original structure.

In my opinion Secunderabad club is a beautiful place to relax and rejuvenate... A very calm and beautiful place surrounded with trees best suited for senior citizens who are there to spend some quality time with their loved ones away from the hustle of the city. It has the best state of the art amenities and elaborate spots complex which includes a basketball court a tennis court a swimming pool badminton court and many more which can be checked on the club's official website. The food is very sumptuous and worth a try, the club also organises live events now and then. All in all the club is the best place to visit for a quiet brunch or dinner or even to spend a weekend with your family
"Charming old club recently"
John Putman

A charming old club, recently renovated after a fire, with spacious, pleasingly no-frills rooms that have an almost Scandinavian feel and an unusually good-sized shower. The grounds and facilities are nice, including a health club, tennis courts and a walking track, and it is relatively quiet amid the bustle of Hyderabad. The transit-guest breakfast was a little spartan, but lunches in the main dining room were satisfying, with excellent tandoori lamb chops and a Black Forest cake dessert so good I had it twice, though note no photography is allowed.

Relaxing and Chilled out Environment. Unwind in different set-ups over drinks, food and bites. Beautifully laid out with nice pools and courts and grounds. One can feel the colonial and nizam vibe blend here. Loved it.

"Secunderabad club elite club"

Secunderabad Club is an elite club with restricted entry only for members. A non-member can utilize the club only as a paid guest of a member. It offers dining, swimming pool, tennis court, walking track, squash, basketball, hockey, Badminton, cricket, gym, salon, library, fuel pump, cinema, shopping essentials, children park, bank, guestrooms and other facilities for its members. It conducts various events like musical notes, tambola, plays etc. It also hosts a good bar and all-you-can-eat dining. Service, however is a trifle poor and can be really improved.

Well maintained British era club in Secunderabad. Takes you back in time. Good food, reasonably priced. The guest rooms are spacious, comfortable and good value. Room service is terrific. Facilities include a pool, tennis courts, open air movie, inside and outside dining options, a well stocked store. And a good bar.
