Somaiya is indeed one of the best Universities, not only in Mumbai, but across the country! There are 7 Institutes within the campus, and it's well-equipped with Sports, Amphitheatre, Squash court, Design Labs, Innovation Centres, 7-8 different canteens and 2-3 beautiful well-maintained gardens. It's just such a beautiful place to walk inside the campus. The faculty is great, and very helpful. But the thing I love the most about this place, is how every single teacher encourages you to participate in all cultural events and become a well-rounded individual, regardless of which stream you belong to. Somaiya promotes cultural events, which makes it helpful for students to explore their talents. They also have a Design and Innovation Lab, that helps you grow in your own field, beyond your syllabus. And they now also have an event to showcase your innovations and creations called "MakerMela". There's an entrepreneurship cell which has given birth to quite a many start-ups, within the campus. So it's also become easy for students to find internship opportunities within the campus, which also saves a lot of travel time for students.
