My son (13 years old) has been a member of the 1st Squash Club Dresden for three years now. His personal and athletic development has been tremendous! The coaches are incredibly friendly. They support and challenge the players with so much heart! During training, there's a wonderful sense of camaraderie between the young and experienced players. Respect, cooperation, consideration, and team spirit are highly valued at the club! There are regular team outings. There are also tournaments and the annual highlight during the school holidays, the squash camp, where the young players can showcase their progress. Everyone is cheered on and happy for each other. My son discovered his passion through the club and looks forward to every training session with his friends.

A truly fantastic club! I've been playing squash passionately for about 15 years. Over the last seven years, I've participated in countless recreational tournaments organized by the club, which has allowed me to get to know many people from the club and its wider community. After the move to the Heinz-Steyer-Stadium in the fall of 2024, I became a member myself and haven't regretted it for a second. The club nights are always well-attended, and you can compete against players of all levels - from beginners to international tournament players. Most club nights have a coach available, whom you can approach at any time for tips and practice drills. But even without the goal of improving your own game, you're in good hands here and can have a great time.

Our son has finally found his perfect club at the Dresden Squash Club! After several attempts at other clubs, he feels completely at home here. The coaches are great with the children and young people and manage to perfectly combine motivation with fun. What's especially nice is the friendly community, into which he was immediately welcomed.

I've been a member of the club since its founding 20 years ago. Since then, I've played there with Afghans, Egyptians, Argentinians, Brazilians, Chinese, Indians, Pakistanis, Namibians, and others whose nationalities I've forgotten. Our second language at the club is English; we even have a dedicated Spanish group. The children's and youth group is especially important to us and is constantly growing thanks to the excellent coaching. I'm friends with several members of the club; we visit each other across continents when they've left Dresden. Anyone in Dresden who wants to play squash seriously will find their way to the club. We embrace openness and internationalism every single night. That's all there is to say. I have been a member of the club since it was founded 20 years ago.

A fantastic club. Since I arrived in Dresden and at this club, I've felt welcomed by its members. I love the international atmosphere and how they've worked hard to foster a sporting spirit and camaraderie with the children and adults. I'm from Colombia and feel at home. I've belonged to other clubs in Germany and I'm impressed by the activities, like the squash camp organized for children and many other activities I hadn't seen at other clubs before. This is my place of athletic growth, and I now have very good friends. I highly recommend it!
