I have been playing with Shahid for about 15 years. The other reviews capture Shahid’s warmth, dedication and ability to help people who are serious about squash to improve their skills and tactics. It is worth noting, too, that working with Shahid is a fun way for people who are less focused on improvement to get really good exercise. When I started with Shahid, I had no idea what I was doing on. Squash court. It was fun and rewarding then, and more so now.

I cannot say enough great things about SZK Squash and Shahid，he is truly the best squash coach we’ve ever encountered since my son started playing. His level of technical expertise is extraordinary, and it’s clear he understands the game at the deepest level. But what sets him apart even more is his approach to coaching: he doesn’t just teach shots or drills，he builds players. He takes the time to fully understand each student’s strengths, weaknesses, personality, and goals, and then creates a training plan that is tailored to who they are, not just what they need to improve. Rather than simply coaching, he truly makes players. He challenges my son in ways that push him to grow his skills and his mindset, always encouraging him, offering guidance, and helping him to develop self-management, confidence, and resilience both on and off the court. His ability to motivate, support, and connect with his players is something we have rarely seen elsewhere. SZK Squash is not only a premier place to improve your game technically and strategically, but also a community where players are inspired to become better athletes and more confident individuals.

Shahid is an incredible squash coach/instructor, and is also a wonderful person. I have known Shahid for 10+ years, and he has helped me immensely with my game. He provides a unique perspective and is able to elevate your performance in every respect, but particularly in the front of the court and with kill shots. I recommend him highly for players of all levels.

Can’t recommend Shahid highly enough. He was my coach for many years and is truly an exceptional squash coach who takes a genuine, personal interest in each of his students. Coming from a family of squash legends, Shahid brings deep passion and tradition to everything he does. He holds incredibly high standards, yet you almost don’t feel the intensity because of how cheerful he is and how brilliant his sense of humor is. Shahid teaches the mental side of the game just as much as the physical, which makes a huge difference on court. Everyone in my family is a huge fan of Shahid, and I’m deeply grateful to have had him not only as a coach, but as a mentor and well-wisher in my life.

Shahid is an exceptional squash coach, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He has completely transformed my son’s game, elevating his technical skills, physical fitness, and mental toughness to a whole new level. What truly sets Shahid apart is that his impact extends far beyond the court. Shahid was my daughter’s primary coach during some very formative years of her junior squash development, from age 10 to 15. During that time, he brought tremendous energy to the court and was deeply committed to her improvement. He has a strong understanding of technical fundamentals and works hard to build confidence in young players. I’ve always appreciated his passion for the sport and his dedication to helping juniors grow both on and off the court. I’m grateful for the role he played in her early development and wish him continued success in his coaching career.

Shahid is an absolutely wonderful and world-class coach. I would highly recommend him! Firstly, Shahid is an amazing person. He has an incredible work ethic and is very caring. He knows how to stretch his students, but does so in a very thoughtful way. My son absolutely loves his lessons and looks forward to them every weekend. Secondly, Shahid comes from a lineage of Squash world ranked players. He takes incredible pride in the game and growing it. This is very clear in every interaction, he does it for the love of the game and not to monetize it. Lastly, Shahid has an outstanding reputation in the greater Boston area and the global Squash community. He has also helped numerous students get to their dream universities.
