It's a very nice place to run, okay basketball, soccer, squash, roller blade and just chill with family and friends. You can find some really good smoothies outside.

The Maria Luisa Calle Sports Center has a speed skating/bicycle track and 6 clay tennis courts in fair condition. I always play tennis here with my Colombian coach when I'm in Medellin. An added bonus for aviation bluffs is that it's next to the Olaya Herrera Airport. I've spent hours seated nearby just observing jets, turbo props,light airplanes and helicopters handling the challenging approaches and takeoffs.
