I played squash. It's my first time and can't compare to any other place to give a fully adequate review. The building seemed a little bit run down, therefore 3 stars. The badminton court in Wanstead is pretty busy and I is advisable to be booked well in advance. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The place is situated close to the tube station which is very convenient. Easy to find too.

Been using the facilities for most my life so seen better days. Still very reasonable Badminton and squash pricing. Free car parking remains a bonus. The under stairs changing rooms can do with an upgrade though.

Good facility should do better on the changing and showering facilities. Staff are good and keep the place clean. Squash courts could do with a little maintenance. The weights room and cardio machine's are good and it appears there is enough equipment available even when busy.

After 20 odd years of coming to this gym I thought I would write a review before the new pool arrives. I have always been received well by all the staff including cleaners and have had many good interactions. The badminton courts are good as are the squash courts although some filling of minor chips wouldn't go a miss. The gym is well equipped and spacious and kept very clean, plenty of paper and sanitiser to clean machines. Mens changing rooms could do with an upgrade as a bit dated but kept clean. I love the staff and the centre, feels like home
