Great little place. The equipment is relatively old and tired, but the place is great. Surrounded by utter serenity in the Welsh countryside, there is a pool (which you book for private sessions) and a gym with squash courts. Service is hard to rate because it is all self-served (including the upstairs honesty bar with pool table) but the rest is great

We stayed in redwood lodge... This was a lovely, cute holiday home. Amazing facilities with great activities with kids. The pool was lovely and had it to ourselves, fun game of squash and amazing self service private bar area with pool table. Spacious holiday home with relaxing hot tub area with gorgeous views. Great spot for adventuring around the different sights and places of Wales. Lovely walk to Chirk.
