It's a decent place. Lifetime Membership costs RS. 8,50,000/-, it was started in the year 1891, The land for the club was purchased from S.L. Ramaswamy Aiyer of Sulur on 25 July 1891. To an existing small shed, a clubhouse, a billiards room, card rooms and tennis courts were added. The front Porch was called Verandah club. A large tree in the vicity was main meeting place of its members’ also called as Wisdom Tree. CCC is a very nice place to take kids for a play time. Food s good with improvements required in serving the same

The Club has tennis court, card room, restaurant, bar, lawn service etc. Ample parking available. Rooms are not maintained properly. We had to change rooms twice within a couple of hours of checking in due to water pouring out of the AC/flush not working etc. In the third room, the shower didn't work but we continued in that room. Room service is average.

Coimbatore Cosmopolitan Club was founded in 1891 at Racecourse, Coimbatore. The 118 year old club has also absorbed the various schools of thought and practice with regard the administration of the club over the years and has emerged colourfully cosmopolitan under all circumstances. The thousands of members of the past and the present have been the pioneers behind the development of our great city. The development of Coimbatore was proposed and brought about by the Cosmopolitan minds of our club so much so that the growth of the city owes most of it to our members. Once you enter the cosmopolitan club you will feel a kind of warmth and nostalgia with the friendly atmosphere and lots of fun and games and entertainment organized by our dynamic directors adds to that warmth and is a fun place to be. The club offers relief to the active businessman and relaxation to the retired senior citizens. It offers solace to the overworked middle aged person and recreation for the young man.
