It's a decent place. Lifetime Membership costs RS. 8,50,000/-, it was started in the year 1891, The land for the club was purchased from S.L. Ramaswamy Aiyer of Sulur on 25 July 1891. To an existing small shed, a clubhouse, a billiards room, card rooms and tennis courts were added. The front Porch was called Verandah club. A large tree in the vicity was main meeting place of its members’ also called as Wisdom Tree. CCC is a very nice place to take kids for a play time. Food s good with improvements required in serving the same

The Club has tennis court, card room, restaurant, bar, lawn service etc. Ample parking available. Rooms are not maintained properly. We had to change rooms twice within a couple of hours of checking in due to water pouring out of the AC/flush not working etc. In the third room, the shower didn't work but we continued in that room. Room service is average.

A historic club founded in 1891 with a warm, nostalgic atmosphere and a real sense of heritage. There's a friendly, welcoming feel with plenty of games, entertainment and events organised by the directors — relaxation for retirees and recreation for the young alike. A lovely, characterful place to spend time.
