When this place was owned by the council the prices were a lot better which meant that my friends and I would use this place a little bit more. But now a "charity" has taken over the prices have sky rocketed. A game of badminton that used to cost just over £5 now costs nearly £9. Which isn't exactly encouraging local residents to shift some pounds (only the ones that they have earnt through hard graft). The facilities are ok, the changing rooms have an odd smell, but are relatively clean. And the staff are usually happy and helpful. The facilities include a 3G football pitch, badminton courts, squash courts and a few rooms that are available to hire for activities like yoga. A good place for sporty activities, but definitely overpriced.

Nice big sports centre with decent facilities. Squash courts in need of a bit of TLC but still playable. Overall a decent venue.

I'm grateful they keep their squash courts open! Plenty of changing room space, and vending machines if you need any drinks for sport
