"Found wedding band while was working out"

Mario Novielli

Found a wedding band while I was working out and attempted to give it to a “coach.” He apathetically told me to bring it to the front. I explained I was in the middle of a workout and he just said “I’m going to be on the floor for another four hours.” If I left something behind I would hope that an equinox employee would take some ownership and help to get it to the right spot.

"Experience at equinox boston was nothing short"

Deise Soria

My experience at Equinox Boston was nothing short of excellent. The gym is always clean, with top-of-the-line equipment, and the atmosphere is incredibly motivating. The staff was always friendly and supportive, making it a great place to work out. A special shoutout to my personal trainer, Kevin Roache, who has been an absolute game-changer in my fitness era. Kevin has a unique ability to tailor workouts to my goals, pushing me to work harder while ensuring proper form and injury prevention. His knowledge and expertise have not only helped me see physical results but also given me the confidence to tackle challenges I never thought I could. Kevin’s approach is personal, professional, and motivating – I always looked forward to our sessions. Not only is Kevin an incredible personal trainer, but he also has some seriously impressive talents. I’ve seen him smash a watermelon between his thighs — yes, you read that right! His strength and control are truly at the next level. If that’s any indication of his dedication and power, it’s clear that Kevin can handle any challenge, both in the gym and beyond. Overall, I highly recommend Equinox Boston for anyone looking for a premium gym experience, and if you're in need of a personal trainer, Kevin Roache is the one to go to. Especially if you need that extra push in 2025. His dedication and passion for helping clients succeed are truly unmatched!

"Hope this review won be hidden again"

I hope this review won’t be hidden again for any reason. As a member of 3 years, I’ve experienced both positives and negatives at Equinox. On the positive side, their well-constructed athletic training classes and excellent trainers offer rewarding experiences. On the other hand, I recently raised a hygiene concern about outdoor shoes being worn in barre classes and was told to "mind my business." While I understand that Equinox may have limitations in addressing member-related issues, I found their communication style misaligned with what I prioritize as a member. When I shared my experience on a relevant platform, I encountered mob-like hostility from individuals who were defensive about such concerns. I was labeled a "Karen" and an "insufferable complainer," which I believe reflects more about their behavior than my feedback. Despite this, I stand by my words and believe this level of defensiveness and brand loyalty is worth noting. It says a lot about the culture within certain segments of the community.

"Overwhelmingly underwhelmed with my experience visiting equinox"

Overwhelmingly underwhelmed with my experience visiting equinox as part of my stay at the adjacent hotel. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful, and the morning manager Matt had a bad attitude when asked for standard information. I was told by the staff that they only accepted cash and were unable to process credit card payments to book a squash court, which is insane in 2022 at a supposedly state of the art fitness company. The racquets they had on loan were pretty beat up so I would recommend packing your own if you want to play squash

"Avery street location is the best"

Avery Street location is the best in Boston. Weights, court, pool, classes, trainers, amenities. It's good to be an OG.

"Large sports club located right in downtown"

Large sports club located right in downtown Boston with great equipment and facilities. Also great training staff - pricey but worth it.
