The staff were uninterested and unhelpful: when I asked to use one of the many benches in the hall to rest between badminton matches, I was told they must stay tipped on their sides for health and safety, which is actually more hazardous with sharp legs sticking up. Others simply used the benches without asking and nothing was done, even after I raised it, so the rules were neither consistent nor enforced. I felt singled out, and there were no signs saying the benches could not be used.
