"Arrived for booked 60 minute slot"

Arrived for booked 60 minute slot on the court for badminton, no staff in sight, once got hold of someone we were told there is no badminton on Saturdays. We showed the staff the confirmation of the booking and after some waiting the net was set up leaving us with about 30 minutes of playtime. The changing facilities were filthy as well, definitely not coming back.

Friendly staff and neighbourhood platinum membership is a great deal to opt for. You have access to book Badminton & Squash courts and to use the swimming pool & Gym along with other activities as per their schedule. Few activities will cost extra on top of the membership but most of them are free to access. One drawback is no swimming class for adults at this centre.
"Swimming here for about year now"

Been swimming here for about a year now. Very dated facilities but the pool is quite good and does the job if it's open when you can get there. The problem is the times are quite restrictive. Opens at 7:30am which is just too late to get a swim in before work. It's only open in the evening past 6:30pm 3 times a week so there's basically 3 sessions a week anyone with normal working hours can make it. No swim on Saturday. I've also sometimes gone and there's no lane ropes out despite them usually being there and even though 5+ of us are trying to swim lengths. A few of us asked about the ropes as people were getting in our way just standing in the middle of the pool and we were told it's not a "training pool", whatever that is. Swimming lengths is a completely normal way to use a swimming pool and 4 lanes only take up half the pool, leaving enough room for everyone so I see no reason why they shouldn't always be out. I've never gone to the pool where there hasn't been people swimming lengths (or trying to) so removing the ropes makes no sense. There's a few regulars who think once they've got a lane it's theirs to keep and refuse to swim in circles to allow more than 2 people in a lane. The lifeguards refuse to get involved and say it's a "public swim" so they can't tell people how to swim. So apparently people can treat it like their private pool. Seems like the lifeguards don't want to rock the boat with the regulars. Either that, or they're mates, or they just don't care. But a public pool means it needs to be shared by all and swimming circles is how it happens in any other pool I've ever been to in the world. No one can refuse to share a lane with someone. I've paid to enter but I can't swim, ridiculous.
