With 7 regular courts and 1 court, the Open Squash FiDi location allows Open Squash to exemplify the word "open" further, and host more activities such as tournaments, camps, and special events. Cost: Open Squash FiDi has a special program for newcomers. If you are interested in playing the sport, Open Squash will make it happen. Open Squash FiDi has the best coaches. Here are some of the coaches I have taken lessons from. Amr: Amr is known for his accuracy on the squash court. He can hit the ball exactly where he wants it. He also helps players become the squash players they want to be. Amr teaches players to use their strengths and turn their weaknesses into strengths. As the Egyptian National Coach from 2017 to 2023, Amr brought Egyptian training methods to Open Squash. I have seen our junior players improve significantly with his help. More importantly, Amr helps juniors develop good character. I remember one time when a 13- or 14-year-old girl practiced with two older juniors, around 17 or 18. She looked frustrated during the drill. After she got off the court, Amr praised her swing and pointed out the positive changes she had made. His encouragement made her smile.

Love the club. Really good courts and excellent community. Players are competitive but friendly. It is a bit of an awkward walk from WTC and doesn’t have a steam room which I love. But worth it for the squash.

Two modern courts in downtown Manhattan with clean changing rooms. The coaches have ensured a marked improvement in my school going daughter’s performance over the months.

Clean, socially distanced facility tucked away in the street level of an office building. Students wear masks and face shields and management is conscious of caregivers / companions being in or around the court and giving ample space / sanitizer. We are just beginning there but the older students look super impressive and dedicated. Recommend!

My son has been playing at SquashRx downtown for half a year. Before that he had played sporadically at a couple of clubs around the city. At SquashRx he found incredibly dedicated, extremely knowledgeable, and very supportive coaches who care about his development as both a player and human being. They encourage him to challenge himself and overcome obstacles, while providing him with the technical and mental skills to do so. I’m very thankful for having found SquashRx, and so is my son.

Easy to book. Decent facilities (bathrooms, showers, water fountain). Nicely lit. The ceilings are a bit low though
