"Very sociable and welcoming club, unbelievable value for"

Very sociable and welcoming club, unbelievable value for London and a great bar to boot as well. Good mix of standards from experienced county level (me) to complete beginner (Jason) with three teams playing in Surrey and an active internal league. Can highly reccomend, made a lot of friends in the four years I've been a member.

I've been a member at Spencer Club for many years, and even after moving from Wandsworth Common, where I first joined, to Clapham Common and now Battersea, I've stayed for a few reasons. The facilities are great, and being part of the wider Spencer Sports Club brings extra perks like a good bar. It's always easy to get a game, whether casually, through the internal leagues, or at a training evening, I can't remember a single time in ten plus years I've struggled to find someone to play. Booking online well in advance makes it easy to plan my schedule, the coaching is first class, and the committee and members are genuinely enthusiastic about the club. The standard of play is high enough that my own game has improved, but there's no elitism among the better players and beginners are always welcome. Membership and court fees are very reasonable next to other squash clubs, and most importantly, the members themselves are a friendly, inclusive bunch with no egos, run by a committee that volunteers real effort for the club. I'd recommend Spencer to anyone looking for a local squash club in South West London.

I love playing squash at Spencer Club! There is a strong female community of squash players across all levels and the members are very friendly. The courts are really nice, the club is very well run and it is very easy to travel to the club using public transport. There is also a really fun social vibe within the sports clubhouse which makes for an all-round enjoyable squash experience.

Great club with so much going on! There are leagues and training sessions for all abilities. Competitive teams playing in a range of Surrey leagues and a rapidly growing ladies section. There's a really friendly atmosphere and a great bar with cheap drinks for after your game!
"I recently joined Spencer Squash club"

I recently joined Spencer Squash club. The joining process was quick and easy as the members where very friendly and helpful which immediately made me feel welcome.. The club is also located very conveniently between my commute from Raynespark to Waterloo which makes it an easy stop to play a game before or after work. All the bookings are online and easy accessible. I was very impressed with the manner in which the squash club was managed as there is ample oppertunity for ladies, men and juniors to play. There's weekly club nights, coaching, internal leagues as well as the Surrey league. The club has an awesome vibe with great players from all over the world.

It's a good club with a great atmosphere. However, there are only 2 courts for squash so it can get crowded on club night (Tuesday).
"Great club which now"

A great club I have belonged to for more years than I care to mention, with three Surrey League teams, seven internal divisions and active WhatsApp groups, so finding players at your level is never a problem. The court fees are the cheapest around and membership is reasonable, but it is the camaraderie I love, with great social events and a cheap, friendly bar. There is a place for all standards, plus active junior and ladies programmes, and it is easy to reach near Earlsfield station.
