"Very sociable and welcoming club, unbelievable value for"

Charlie Duckworth

Very sociable and welcoming club, unbelievable value for London and a great bar to boot as well. Good mix of standards from experienced county level (me) to complete beginner (Jason) with three teams playing in Surrey and an active internal league. Can highly reccomend, made a lot of friends in the four years I've been a member.

"I've been a member at Spencer Club for many years"

I've been a member at Spencer Club for many years. The club has always been a great place to play squash for a very competitive membership fee given the range of activities on offer. I originally joined as the club is close to Wandsworth Common. I have since moved to Clapham Common and now Battersea and while there are clubs which are closer to me I remained with Spencer for a number of reasons; 1. The facilities are great and being part of the wider Spencer Sports club brings many other advantages, not least the excellent bar. 2. It's always been very easy to get a game, either casually, as part of the internal leagues or by attending one of the club training evenings. (I can't think of one occasion over 10 yrs + when I've struggled to find someone to play which I understand is not always the case at other clubs) 3. The fact that it's easy to book online and well in advance allows me to plan my playing schedule in advance. 4. The coaching on offer at Spencer is first class 5. The general enthusiasm of the club committee and members. 6. The general standard of player is very high and I feel my game has improved as a result. (that said there is a wide range of standards at Spencer and there isn't an elitist feel amongst the better players in the club with beginners more than welcome) 7. Cost wise the membership and light fees are very reasonable and much more competitive than others squash clubs. 8. Finally (and most importantly) the members at Spencer are a great bunch of people being both friendly and inclusive. There are no egos and the committee members work hard on a voluntary basis and genuinely want the best for the club. I would certainly recommended Spencer Squash Club to anyone considering joining a local squash club in South West London.

I love playing squash at Spencer Club! There is a strong female community of squash players across all levels and the members are very friendly. The courts are really nice, the club is very well run and it is very easy to travel to the club using public transport. There is also a really fun social vibe within the sports clubhouse which makes for an all-round enjoyable squash experience.

Great club with so much going on! There are leagues and training sessions for all abilities. Competitive teams playing in a range of Surrey leagues and a rapidly growing ladies section. There's a really friendly atmosphere and a great bar with cheap drinks for after your game!

"I recently joined Spencer Squash club"

I recently joined Spencer Squash club. The joining process was quick and easy as the members where very friendly and helpful which immediately made me feel welcome.. The club is also located very conveniently between my commute from Raynespark to Waterloo which makes it an easy stop to play a game before or after work. All the bookings are online and easy accessible. I was very impressed with the manner in which the squash club was managed as there is ample oppertunity for ladies, men and juniors to play. There's weekly club nights, coaching, internal leagues as well as the Surrey league. The club has an awesome vibe with great players from all over the world.
